What Is Cellulite?

Cellulite is a common skin condition that occurs when the skin over certain areas of fat gets pulled down by connective tissue bands. It is harmless, and the result is the appearance of lumpy, dimpled, uneven skin. Cellulite is more prevalent among women due to different fat, connective tissue, and muscle distribution. Common areas where it is found are the thighs, buttocks, and hips.

Injectable Treatment

Qwo is a new FDA-approved treatment used to treat moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks. Qwo was developed through rigorous research, testing and development, including the largest cellulite clinical trail in history. Qwo contains a collagenase enzyme that can break down collagen-rich fibrous connective tissue bands. By breaking up these bands of collagen, Qwo reduces the reduces their tethering effect on the skin, thus giving a smoother appearance to the skin surface. It is designed to treat moderate to severe cellulite in the buttocks of women.

Qwo treatments comprise a series of injections given to adult women. Once injected, the fibrous septae is released enzymatically by targeting types 1 and 3 collagen. Qwo is noninvasive and results in smoother skin. As one dermatologist described it, Qwo is “cutting edge cellulite treatment without the cutting!”

What To Expect

You will need to receive three treatments of Qwo, with 12 injections given each round. Each treatment occurs 21 days apart.

Who Should And Should Not Get QWO?

The ideal candidate is someone with distinct cellulite divots caused by fibrous bands. Those who are allergic to any of Qwo’s ingredients, including collagen-based products, or have an infection in the treatment area should not use this treatment.
